The Department established in 1972 has the privilege of having eminent scholars of Urdu literature as its faculty. The Department got the opportunity of hosting 3rd All India Urdu University Teachers Conference in the year 1977. There are more than 1500 titles in finest in the whole state of Jharkhand.
